Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy

1. Introduction & Purpose

Sulaksham Projects Pvt. Ltd. (“Sulaksham”, “we”, “our”) is committed to contributing to sustainable development while operating responsibly across social, environmental, and economic dimensions, in alignment with India’s National Voluntary Guidelines on Social, Environmental and Economic Responsibilities of Business (NVGs). Through this policy, we outline our CSR strategy and ensure alignment with our core values and long-term business goals.


2. Governance & Oversight

  • A Board-level CSR Committee will oversee the execution of CSR initiatives, in line with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Schedule VII of the Act.
  • The Committee will:
    • Finalize CSR focus areas.
    • Approve annual budgets and specific projects.
    • Monitor implementation and evaluate impact.
    • Publish an annual CSR report for transparency and accountability.

3. CSR Focus Areas

Our CSR efforts will center around the following themes, informed by sector norms and community needs:

  • Education & Skill Development
    • Support local schools through infrastructure, digital classrooms, and scholarships.
    • Provide vocational training (e.g., interior design, craftsmanship) to empower underserved youth.
  • Environmental Sustainability
    • Organize tree plantation drives and promote green cover in collaboration with local communities.
    • Encourage sustainable practices such as waste reduction and reuse within our operations.
  • Community Health & Sanitation
    • Facilitate health camps, sanitation drives, and hygiene awareness in project locations.
    • Support improvement of community amenities in underserved areas.
  • Preservation of Culture & Heritage
    • Engage in initiatives that support traditional art, local craftsmanship, or community revitalization programs.

4. Implementation Strategy

  • CSR projects will be undertaken directly or in partnership with credible NGOs and community groups.
  • Employees will be encouraged to participate in volunteering and skill-transfer activities, fostering social engagement.
  • A minimum of 2% of average net profits (last three financial years) will be allocated annually to CSR initiatives, as required under law.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Every CSR project will include defined objectives, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • The CSR Committee will review progress regularly and engage in corrective actions if needed.
  • An annual CSR report will be published internally and on our website, detailing contributions, impact, expenditure, and future plans—ensuring transparency and alignment with NVG principles.

6. Compliance & Ethical Standards

  • All CSR initiatives will adhere to relevant legal and ethical standards, avoiding conflicts of interest and promoting fairness and transparency.
  • We commit to anti-corruption and respect for human rights, in line with best practices.

7. Review & Continuous Improvement

This CSR Policy will be reviewed annually to incorporate feedback from stakeholders, assess performance, and align with evolving regulatory or community needs.
